It was a cloudy December morning before Christmas and I was in 2 minds about getting up early to shoot the sunrise. Especially when it’s an hour’s drive to get to the nearest beach. Then this happened.
I actually arrived at North Narrabeen a bit late – the blue light of pre-dawn had started to turn orange and I noticed cloud on the horizon that would delay the appearance of the sun. But it’s the presence of clouds that brings forth the magnificence of the early morning sunlight.
